Department of Biological Science

This Biological Science Major trains and educates professionals who will learn to identify realistic biochemical issues through basic knowledge of bioscience so that they can work in bioscience audits related fields that require people with active and progressive minds, responsibility, and good work ethics. Based on education for the whole man, the department of bioscience trains and educates students to make positive contributions to the field of bioscience. This department’s goal is the development of human resources to work in the field of the ecological environments through the education in taxonomy, ecology and biology for preserving the diversity of living things, which is the fundamental field of biology, and also in the related fields of genetic engineering, fermentology, applied microbiology, and immunology, which is the applied field of biology, to develop new vaccines, antibiotics, and new materials. Our alumni, who studied hard, are working diligently in private companies, local governments, research centers, and specialized local environmental companies, while also making contributions to the local community.
